I rarely leave negative reviews — in fact, this is the first negative review I have ever written — but my experience at this office today was so frustrating and disrespectful that I feel compelled to speak up.
I arrived early for my 3:40 PM new patient appointment at approximately 3:25 PM. Despite being early, I was immediately turned away because I didn’t check in exactly 25 minutes prior to my appointment. The front desk staff told me they were busy with surgery and, since I was a new patient with paperwork, they could not see me.
I politely asked: “If I complete all the paperwork before 3:40, will you still be able to see me?” Their answer was a blunt “No.” They only offered to rebook me for another day.
This is completely unacceptable. If an office is so rigidly managed and poorly run that they have to turn away patients who arrive early just to stay on schedule, then I have zero confidence that I would receive the attention, time, and quality care I deserve.
Dr. Callie may be a great doctor — I wouldn’t know, because the inflexible and rude gatekeepers at the front desk made sure I never got the chance to find out.
Because of this terrible first impression and lack of basic respect for patients’ time, I will not be rescheduling. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect professionalism and common courtesy from a medical office.
